The console is the in-game Command Line Interface that provides the most direct method available to players for interacting with the game engine, including issuing commands, setting CVars, and scripting.


To access the in-game console, press shift+tilde. Tilde (~) is the key left of 1, above tab, and below escape on most keyboards.
