Dual Saber Techniques
From JAWiki
Sizzors- Horizontal sizzors are a dual saber technique that is vicious and most commonly used as a offensive move and to advance on the opponent. To perform alternate A+D and it makes a fan type motion. Best to use 4 or so swings and back off while if your timing is correct sizzors can be near infinite, if you sizzor too long you become predictable and your opponent can counter attack so look for the times during duels to sizzor.
Also getting the timing down for sizzors can be hard but with practice it comes and once learned will become a valuable part of your dual saber use.
Advancing Scissors- By alternating from forward+right to forward+left you can push back your opponent and advance forward. This is that advancement using sizzors by also moving your mouse back and forth while sizzoring.
Buzzsaw aka “Diagonal Scissors”- is a variation of the horizontal sizzors sometimes called the vertical sizzors. Its a two swing combo but can be near infinited similarly to horizontal sizzors. For the first swing, hold attack and then move forward+right, then for the second swing press backward+left, it then makes a saw like motion going back and forth. This is a good mixup from horizontal sizzors. However in my experience it leaves you more open than regular sizzors because less of you is covered by the attack arc so best used when there are openings in the opponent or as a counter.
Crouch sizzors-both buzzsaw and horizontal sizzors can be used when crouching. The advantage to this is theres less target area and more protection. however the advancement is slow and only recommended when your opponent is close and as a more defensive move.
