JA Gadget is a program written in the Perl programming language which provides various tools and toys to players. In its present form, it works similar to a Kill Tracker or Boba's UU. The difference is in the fact that while UU and KTs provide private features for the individual player, JAGadget focuses on providing public features for use by anyone. JAGadget's features range from frivolous toys, to community-oriented tools, to multiplayer gameplay enhancements.

JAGadget is actually a testbed for a future server mod, and is being designed as such, and there are no plans to release it in its client form. It is being designed so that it would be the only program of its kind running on a server, and given the nature of the program, a public release would have negative effects. Having several people running it at a time would create a lot of excess spam and confusion.

Fortunately though, by designing in this way, players can get the benefits of the program now, without waiting for the server mod, so long as Jahandar is on the server.
