Weapon List
From JAWiki
[edit] DL-44 Blaster Pistol
[1] This weapon is used across the galaxy because of its reliability, accuracy, and ease of modification. Famed mercenaries such as Han Solo used this weapon and have proven its effectiveness.
[edit] E-11 Blaster Rifle
[2] Commonly used by Imperial Remnant forces, this weapon's advantage over the DL-44 is its rapid rate of fire. Unfortunately, the weapon falls short in the accuracy department. But sometimes you just need more firepower than a blaster can give you.
[edit] Tenloss Disruptor Rifle
[3] The disruptor rifle, which is outlawed by the New Republic, shoots with strong firepower at a medium rate of fire. The secondary fire mode attacks targets at the molecular level, effectively disintegrating them. The scope on this weapon makes it excellent for sniper work.
Unofficial Note: The red laser from this sniper rifle makes your position obvious. If you play on those sniper servers with dark maps or even CTF that is using a dark map, don't expect the shadows to hide you forever. After every shot, move. Also, in a dark map, wear the Jawa skin (/model Jawa in console) or the Luke or Jedi Trainer skins, as they are universal and black/dark clothed. The thing about the Jawa skin, even though its brown, is it does not have a white face, and the model's only bright section: the eyes, are not visable from a distance.
Also, always make sure to get a bit of a lead on the person when sniping them... Aim for the torso on a full power shot and get about 0.4cm distance in front of them... at about 60 'player squares'. This will usually hit them.
[edit] Wookie Bowcaster
[4] The bowcaster is a powerful crossbow variant. There are two firing modes that can be utilized. The initial fire results in a single powerful bolt shot with deadly accuracy which also can be charged to shoot multiple bolts. The secondary mode launches a single bolt that will bounce around until it hits an enemy or something explosive. The weapon has been modified to include a self-cocking mechanism so creatures with less strength can use it.
[edit] Imperial Heavy Repeater
Originating in Dark Forces, this weapon is highly effective at clearing out rooms full of enemies. The rapid fire of the Repeater can turn unsavory odds into your favor. It also has a secondary attack which launches an energy based explosive, be warned though it takes up a lot of ammunition.
[edit] Destructive Electro-Magnetic Pulse 2 (DEMP 2) Gun
This weapon is highly effective against mechanical enemies such as droids. The electromagnetic charges disrupt electical systems, rendering mechanical devices useless. The latest versions can also inflict damage on organic creatures.
[edit] Golan Arms FC-1 Flechette Weapon
Used throughout the galaxy, this poweful weapon launches shards of metal in a spread, similar to a shotgun. The secondary fire launches two mines that either blow up after a few seconds, or are triggered by an enemy in near proximity.
[edit] Stouker Concussion Rifle
Returning in a modified fashion from Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight, the Concussion Rifle is an old favorite. The gun shoots a fast moving concussion blast up to 30 meters. The blast radius is approximately 4 meters, making this weapon excellent for taking out a number of enemies at one time.
[edit] Merr-Sonn PLX-2M Portable Missle System
This Rocket Launcher can be good for firing into crowds (especially groups occupied in saber battles or trying to snipe somebody else) and the explosions ability to throw bodies around can come in handy to knock people off ledges. It's secondary fire allows it to lock onto a target and home in on it.
[edit] Thermal Detonator
The detonator has two modes of detonation. The primary fire will toss the grenade with a 3 second delay before detonation, from the point of throwing it, and it will bounce around, too. The secondary fire will toss the grenade with no delay, exploding on impact with any surface. In both cases if you hold the fire button down for a longer period of time you will throw the grenade further. Note: Anyone notice how rusty these always look? Handle with care!
[edit] Trip Mine
The trip mine can be placed on any hard surface where it will project a laser beam. Once this beam is broken or fired at, the mine will detonate and damage everything nearby. It's secondary fire makes will make the mine act as a proximity mine instead.
[edit] Detonation Pack
Det packs are excellent for Jedi who are afraid to fight face to face. Lay a few of these down, run away, and use the remote to detonate. They are also excellent for setting up traps and blowing open doors.
